Accountants and bookkeepers provide different services inside of a business. A bookkeeper will manage and keep track of the flow of money in and out of a business, which many accountants don’t do – therefore the services we provide are ongoing. We also prepare the information needed by accountants for tax purposes, and often work with an accountant to ensure a client’s records and reports are correct.
Because the ATO has set a threshold of $82.50 ($75 plus 10% GST), it means that if you want to claim a GST credit you need a correctly rendered tax invoice/receipt. Diary entries or invoices can be used where you can’t get a tax invoice or cash register docket, usually for lesser amounts. EFTPOS receipts are generally not enough unless you write a description of the items purchased on the back of the docket. Read this guide, then call Cameo to discuss.

“Belinda from Cameo Business Consulting was so good at taking my ideas and crafting them into a concise and coherent business plan. She took the time to listen and then applied her years of business experience to not only write the plan but to improve the business model. The Flowchart, financial and plan writing tools Belinda used have produced a flexible and usable business plan that will make a real difference to the success of my venture.”
Troy Potter“As a Financial Adviser on the Gold Coast for nearly 2 decades there have been numerous occasions where my firm has had reason to refer clients, colleagues and even family to Belinda for government grant preparation, grant applications and tenders. Belinda has a rare aptitude for this field and her experience in these areas has proved invaluable in every instance of referral. Belinda’s attention to detail, in a sector of industry where the “details” really do count, has meant that many have succeeded where they otherwise may likely have failed. Thanks Cameo Business Consulting! Your work is greatly appreciated.
Lloyd ThomasThomas Cardwell and AssociatesBelinda from Cameo Business Consulting has written a number of grants and tenders for our office as well as employment contracts and workplace health and safety procedures. I could not be happier with the service I have received from Belinda and that is why I keep going back to her. Nothing is too hard for Belinda, no matter how tedious the task may seem. Thanks to her great work, we have recently been approved for the Small Business Digital Grants Program offered by the QLD Government, which will enable us to greatly improve our on-line presence which in-turn will hopefully lead to more business. Thank you Belinda.
